Conditions of access
The access to the Library is permitted to all the people that are 18 years old or more, that have a valid identity card; the Orientation Office of the Library issues to the users the personal access card complete of photo.
In the Hall is available for the users a wardrobe where bags and any other personal belongings - whose introduction to the Library has not been expressly authorized – could be placed.
The introduction of laptops is allowed.
It is not allowed to enter with photographic equipments, video cameras and portable scanners.
If it’s necessary to consult the documents held by the Library, users can introduce books or photocopies of their property, by authority received.
The consultation of manuscripts and rare books of the Library (Special Collections Room and Rare Manuscripts Room ) is allowed only to scholars and researchers. Graduate students who need to consult rare material, must exhibit a presentation letter from the teacher who assigned the research, written on a headed notepaper of the University and with the stamp of the above-mentioned department.
