Teachers
He has been working in the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma since 1985. Since 1990 he is in charge of the Organization Office and he is coordinator of Library’s national and international projects, too. He is a teacher of librarian legislation at Scuola Speciale per Archivisti e Bibliotecari of “La Sapienza” University since 1998. Since 2001 he is a legislation teacher of Master in Preservation and Management of the Arts at University of Cassino and Master in Studies on ancient book at University of Siena. Moreover, he also works as speakers in seminars, conventions and round tables and he published several articles about libraries’ legislation. He is a member of the legislative observatory of the “Associazione Italiana Biblioteche” and of the “Comitato scientifico dell’Associazione Bianchi Bandinelli.
Maria Luisa Jacini
She is graduated in “Materie Letterarie” at the Faculty of Education of Rome and she is qualified at the “Scuola Vaticana di Biblioteconomia e Bibliografia”. Since 1979 she has been working at BNC (Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Roma), where has taken service in many areas such as Fondo Falqui, Catalogazione per soggetto, Acquisti. She is responsible of the Service of Reproductions to the public and she is also a member of a Working Party with the main purpose to supervise the BNCR’s digitalization projects. She took part in the meeting of the “Comitato Guida della Biblioteca Digitale Italiana” as assistant of the Director. In 2004 she joined the group of volunteer educators of the “Servizio Civile Nazionale”.
Giovanni Bergamin
He is born in 1952 and he is librarian since 1985. He is responsible of the data processing services at BNCF (Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale di Firenze) since 1990. As for BNCF, he coordinated important European projects (such as CDBIB, EDILIBE, NEDLIB, TEL) and national working parties concerning the field of computerization of libraries and digital libraries.
He also took part in activities of university teaching and he is author of several contributions about the new technologies in library areas.
Maria Carla Cavagnis Sotgiu
She is a librarian and she directed the university library of Sassari. She has been responsible, at ICCU, for the laboratory which followed the SBN development and furthermore she has directed the State Record Library from 1990 to 2002. In this period it has participated at many European projects such as Jukebox, Paragon, Harmonica, Phonomedia tradition for the development of new services for Internet access, regarding to sound recording collections. She gave birth to ADMV – Archivio Digitale della Musica Veneta – in association with Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana and Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria di Torino. She also directed the observatory of the international programmes for the library.
She has been vice-chairman of AIB, a member of IFLA and IASA (International Association and of Sound and Audiovisual Archives). Right now she is a member of the Executive Committee of EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations).
Ida Baucia
She is responsible of organizing committee for the management support of a SIAE’s Section, that is O.L.A.F. (Opere Letterarie – Arti Figurative). She oversees the Secretary and the Accounting Office and she collaborates with the director for what concerns the management of the Section.
She looked after the development of new organizational and computer science solutions and she also promoted the study of new procedures referring to the several activities of the Section named O.L.A.F.
As for SIAE, she participates in meetings and conventions in Italy and abroad.
Furthermore, she represents the Society in IFFRO circle (International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organizations). She cares about the relationships with foreigner Author Societies which manage the copyright in the area.
