Conditions of daily newspapers and periodicals cumulative deposit
In October 2006, an agreement between BNC (Banca Nazionale Centrale di Roma) and FIEG (Federazione Italiana Editori Giornali) and USPI (Unione Stampa Periodica Italiana) associations was signed. Later on, the same agreement with ANES (Associazione Nazionale Editoria periodica Specializzata) was signed too, with the purpose to answer the promptly publisher requests and to streamline the praxis related to delivery of daily newspapers and magazines. Article 12, Paragraph 3 of D.P.R. May 3rd, 2006 provides for sending in a cumulative form. “Derogating the articles 6 and 7, the delivery of manifests, daily newspapers, weekly magazines, twice-monthly magazines and monthly magazines can be executed in a cumulative form, according to deadlines which have to agree with secretary institutes.
The first issue of a newspaper or a magazine which comes out for the first time, makes an exception to the delivery in a cumulative form. Furthermore, it must be sent individually and at the first distribution to the public.

The delivery of daily newspapers, weekly and multi-weekly magazines, related enclosures and supplements can be accomplished every 3 months, according to the calendar of different Regions:
Publishers located in Valle d’Aosta, Piemonte, Lombardia, Trentino Alto Adige:
January: the copies distributed in the 4th quarter of the previous year
April: the copies distributed in the 1st quarter of the current year
July: the copies distributed in the 2nd quarter of the current year
October: the copies distributed in the 3rd quarter of the current year
Publishers located in Liguria, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Toscana, Umbria, Marche:
February: the copies distributed in the 4th quarter of the previous year
May: the copies distributed in the 1st quarter of the current year
August: the copies distributed in the 2nd quarter of the current year
November: the copies distributed in the 3rd quarter of the current year
Publishers located in Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia, Sardegna:
March: the copies distributed in the 4th quarter of the previous year
June: the copies distributed in the 1st quarter of the current year
September: the copies distributed in the 2nd quarter of the current year
December: the copies distributed in the 3rd quarter of the current year
The delivery of twice-monthly magazines, monthly magazines and those of different periodicity can be accomplished every 6 months, according to the calendar of different Regions:

July: the magazines distributed in the 1st semester of the current year

September: the magazines distributed in the 1st semester of the current year
