Humanities and Classical Philology
As well as catalogues and bibliographies such as Bibliografia Filosofica Italiana and Répertoire Bibliographique de la Philosophie, the philosophical area includes the most important collections of philosophers' completed works in source language and all the philosophy's great stories. The section of psychology, likewise the other one, also includes the whole completed works of the masters of this discipline.
The area of religion pays particular attention to the history of Christianity and Catholic Church with the collections of papal and clerical scholarship documents, including the Acta Sanctorum. This area also offers a general overview of the religious phenomenon, with a repertoires of non-Christian religions.
The area of classical philology includes general repertories of Greek-Latin civilization such as "Année Philologique" and "Realenzyklopädie Pauly-Wissowa". Users can also find bibliographies, treaties, collections of classical texts ( Teubner, Belles Lettres, Oxford),medieval texts (Corpus Christianorum and Patrologia di Migne), other critical editions out of series and the main stories of classic literatures. Besides, a section of papyrology has been opened and it gathers the most important collections of papyrus and some texts.
The historic area collects auxiliary sciences repertories (such as heraldic), chronology, numismatics and epigraphy. It also gathers general historical bibliographies, the great universal histories such as Cambridge, UTET, the antiques histories such as Cambridge Ancient History, repertories and the medieval and modern history sources. Particular attention is aimed at the big collections of the Europe history ( Monumenta Germaniae Historica and national editions concerning European countries. A great consideration is given to the Italian sources, with "Istituti Storici Nazionali" and "Sociètà di Storia Patria" collections. Users can find all the big histories of the main nations, with particular reference to Italy.
