Periodicals

The collection is composed of 50.000 periodicals, in which 15.000 are recent.

The increase is mainly due to the compulsory deposit law of the printed works and also to the politic purchase, for the donations and for the exchanges with other libraries and the cultural institutions. At the present time the collection is divided into 27 funds or sections with their relative collocation, containing:

  • Gazzettes and newspapers of  XVII - XIX centuries
  • Current periodicals
